Trout fishing questiom

In these strange times I have a day with my 20 yr old daughter and would like to introduce her to trout fishing, but really not too excited about spending money on a license she most likely will use once, you think I could take without license 1 time?

Unfortunately, with the exception of Free Fishing Day which hits on June 6, there is not a "one time exception".
