I put salt around travel areas so they often stop for salt for just a minute year round. During the summer there are certain deer that spend a long time on the salt, I've got many series of pics of nocturnal does spending tons of time at night in the salt lick. I don't have a trail cam anymore but I assume they're still hitting salt around here. Passed a young buck in December that stopped to eat salt for a minute.

Just refreshed my sites last weekend as a matter of fact. Don't expect to start getting heavy traffic till early spring tho.
When I checked my cameras today I had alot of Pictures of deer in mineral licks
