Question #1: Legal or Illegal in TN Wildlife Management Areas/Army Corps of Engineer Areas?

Question#2: Do they work?

Most of the time I don't bother with using anything because a lot of the stuff on the market is just a gimmick product to allow some company to get more of my money.

But I thought this might help increase my odds of seeing more deer even if I am not going to pull the trigger.

Does anyone have real life results?

Thanks,

JP

#1-I don't know
#2- The deer on our property absolutely love them. They will wear one out in no time. Tons of pics of them hitting it.

Number 1, NORMALLY putting anything out like trophy rocks or salt blocks or minerals are illegal on WMA's.

Number 2, YES !

no one can argue that the deer wont eat them, anyone can argue whether it is actually worth the expense of them...........

Yes I believe it is mine was gone they ate it up before season so I did not have that problem. Put it on a stup or rock so it don't sit on the bare ground it will disappear in no time. Good luck

We have many pics already this year of them wearing them out on our place in Dickson. We put them out probably a month ago and they are already destroying the stumps!!!

Well...as usual I can. ;)

The deer at my place prefer trace mineral over TR.

Put them side to side and 10 out of 10 pics show the deer licking/pawing and slobbering on the trace mineral.

And as an added bonus...the price difference is substantial, especially when you consider the weight to dollar ratio.

i have had completely opposite results. they ignored the co-op trace minerals and wore the TR out!!

I don't know if you can put it out on Corp land but they definitely work, but mainly if you just want to get pictures not hunting over. You may get luck early bow season, but usually by then they really slow down on using them.
