Trolling motor.

I have a minnkota edge 24 volt 65. Also have power pole which came with the boat ( which I never use). Is it work upgrading to a spot lock trolling motor or selling the 07 tracker 175twx for another boat that already has spot lock and maybe a 4 stroke motor instead of my 2 stroke 90? Just looking for opinions.

My brother-in-law swapped out to a spot lock on the same exact boat. If he can do it, just about anyone can. Spot lock is a game changer and will spoil you. Do it. You wont regret it.

Personally think the upgrade to an ultrex is worth it. The Xi3 and Xi5, no way. Need to have the pedal to index where the motor is pointing.

As to trading the whole boat and motor, I don't have much input. I have an 04 Xpress with the ox66 Yamaha and I wouldn't trade it for anything

I up graded my edge to a ultrex quest. Best thing I did. Also up graded the remote. It's not just the spot lock, but when you have a hummingbird with a vx card you can set it to follow the contour lines, make you on track for the motor to follow, and have the trolling motor go to a set way point. I did get mine on sale, plus on some Mondays you get an extra 10% off, then on top of that I got another 10% off for retired military.. Major savings.
