First off I'll go on and say I'm one of those "3-4 shots a year" guys.. Tried this in the Christensen this afternoon.. I knew when the trigger broke I pulled the last one.
Happy with the gun so far..
 
I tried those in my .308 last fall and shot 2 does with them. Both of them were double lunged and ran farther than any other I've shot with a rifle. One went about 450 yards. I've been a Barnes user for the past 15 years or so but wanted to try something new. Back to Barnes for me.

Personally I don't care for the SST. Never shot the ELDX but looked at a picture of the projectile. Looks a bit like the SST. Now my reason why I don't like the SST. It made mush out of the heart and lungs. I love the heart, it's my favorite piece from the deer. I stick to lead tipped bullets like the Remington Core-Lokt
