Have put out the brown mineral blocks for years, not always in the same place tho. I put a block out in one place this spring and checked it about a month ago and it was down to about 1 pound from 50 pounds. Bought a bunch of liquid stuff after season went out at Rural King. Mainly Acorn Rage, gallon jugs for $2. Had heard pour it on a rotted hardwood stump but not having any where I replace the brown block that was near gone I made some slabs. Cut a stump down and across making some slabs and soak them in a plastic tote in Acorn Rage for about a week. Took them over at the same time I set out the new mineral block about a foot away. Went today after about 3 weeks and check. This is what I found.. One slab had been moved about 5 foot and both were polished up rather well. Just a little sign on the mineral block tho. I need to hang a camera overlooking that site and see who is eating the wood. Trails leading to that spot from all directions thru the weeds.
