Yoknapatawpha county.
We had somebody that was gonna bowhunt on public by us and if they shot one unless it fell within 15 yards they would have to trespass to get it. We deal with this đź’© every year and it gets worse every year.

The road I live on was getting wore out last night. That's never a thing until deer season. Just guys trying to get one to check in this morning. It's about a pain to live in the country during deer season. You lose the peacefulness.
Do you live close to public. And that's what there doing. Rolling around illegally shooting onto public land. ?

No. Just a dead end county road with only 2 occupied houses for a couple miles. That's just how it is here. The culture has always been that way, technology has just made it worse. It's just the thing "in" thing to do. You get a thermal and ride around to get your deer. When I was a kid, spotlighting was what every one did but it was hard to hide. Now it's the kids and grandkids of those guys, they just have much more effective methods. I don't bushhog my road frontage at all anymore except for just before green up, that's about all you can do to slow it down.

Deer season is hell on earth at my house because its all open farmland and road hunting scum have taken over a whole community right on the edge of the city limits. I hunt 0 days, just patrol and fight.

Yeah and I bet you at least personally know some low life scumbag poachers and your limp wristed hind end looks the other way. That's why it strikes a nerve with you. That's what I bet
Luckily on my side of the state twra and our local sheriff's office do a good job keeping the riff raff down. If I had half the problems you cry about on here like people shooting up you house and burning your dogs I'd man up and do something about it. Unlike you who have already rolled over and continue to complain on tndeer about it.

I am doing something about it You are just too stupid to understand what it is. You can't hog hunt anymore during deer season can you? You aren't going to be able to ride around spotlighting with thermals one of these days. They will increase penalties on these criminals shooting in the street or I will die trying. You and the other limp wrists can cry all you want. I understand the system and Im doing so others don't suffer. I've already been drug to court, you fight trash how you want and I'll will fight trash how I want. Leave me alone while I'm doing it nutjob. Not everyone has the LUXURY of law and order.

I hog hunt during all big game seasons in the fall. It's legal on South Cherokee. I'm wish they'd go the way of the dinosaurs myself. But that'll probably never happen. Id like to know what laws I've broken o "Righteous" one.🤣 I spent 30 years living on the plateau. Quit living in fear and back away from the keyboard.
Yeah, yeah, yeah you and mudflap from gobbler's knob think you are authorities on everyone's opinions. You don't give a crap about anything or when people have trouble. Cause it's all about you and what you can get for yours. You think because you've lived somewhere that adds weight. You like to heckle and try to bully but everyone knows that's ever lived around your kind is how soft you all get when a man is standing in front of you.

I had deleted that comment because I was tired of rolling in the mud with you. Several of us members have offered condolences and advice and it's fallen on death ears. I'm sure I'm not the only who has grown tired of the constant complaints you've posted here. I'm tired this evening. Guess I'm heading back to Gobblers knob.

So glad I hunt massive tracs of public land. I don't envy you guys at all! Trespassers suck
Nothing like having some one come in on you while your hunting. It sucks. But if it is public land they have as much right to be there. It still does not change the fact that it sucks.

One of my homemade steel ladder stands, I had setup on the channel to shoot beavers, was pulled down and drug about 30 yards from the property line. Was bush hogging this morning and found it probably about 40 yards from the tree it had been on, and a crap load of brush in front of it so they didn't drag it in a straight line. About a month back one of my cameras was turned off, maybe what happened with the stand was at the same time? Guess there was just enough slack in the cable lock for someone to open it. Guess I am going to have to get cell cams out .

Think I may call the owner of that property and see if he has any idea since his property was the direction whoever took the stand down was going.

Here's the last couple ginseng trespassers on 1 property. Such a pain, can't have nothing without someone taking it. These are almost always "disabled" people that get in the mountains and walk miles through rugged terrain.
I remember seeing guys selling their ginseng to a buyer in the parking lot at the co-op year after year. Same type except maybe a little more methed out. Always had big bags of green ginseng at the beginning of season too. They start digging as soon as it pops up in the spring until the leaves fall off.

Can't guarantee these were shot by trespassers but both of these were found within 50 yds where I posted the pics of the armed trespassers . One I found a couple months ago , the other yesterday while seeding . It wasn't there a week ago . The two are very similar . 82F69F42-8F82-452C-BD36-9C906D4B114A.webp09421DC4-800F-4025-9682-B73E13508D77.webp36A7A774-EEB0-4EFB-ACDD-8E6E7659BB8E.webp
