Have a buddy that works for Line X, dropped off my Summit Viper Aluminum to him today. The viper is about 5 years old and weighs 20 lbs. This is before the noise dampening foam. Going to have him do a light spray of some OD Green Line X on it. Want to see what the weight difference is when I get it back. I also have a Goliath that is a year old. If it doesn't change the weight that much I may have him do that one for me also. No more spray painting and will have better grip on the platform. Plus with Line X I will just spray off at the end of the season and call it good. Just wanted to get it done early so I can let it air out before the season starts. I will post pics and weight once I get it back.

Going to do the whole thing, it's just a super thin coat not near has much has a truck bed. About 1/16" on it truck beds are usually 1/4" on the rails, bed and tailgate and 1/8" on the sides. I figured 1/16" is fine shouldn't get tore up and won't add to much weight.
