Well,Ive gotten my self into a fix.Now I have about 75 or so trees 4 years or younger to keep up with,spread all over 70 acres.It takes me about 2 hours to spray em all,which I dont really mind,but I wanna find a faster way than my 2 gallon pump up sprayer.Any thoughts?

Also,yes they need spraying pretty regular,seems something is always eating on them,or they look a little off,disease I guess.And soon the Jap beetles will be out.I hate em.I know many say,its just part of the cycle,but I aint getting any younger,wanna see em really produce,which some are now.So,I like to help em all I can.

Thinking of a back pack sprayer,or a 4 wheeler mounted sprayer,not sure,HELP NEEDED!
 
Agree with above, I believe my tank is 15 gallon and it would work. I spray about 50 trees with my 1 1/2 gallon sprayer. Are you spraying sawtooths and everything?
 
I just mounted my 60 gallon UTV sprayer and tested clethodim and crop oil on a few clover plots. I'm very happy with the performance and should have purchased the sprayer years ago.

I noted the Clethodim label states one could also spray ornamental trees, which includes oaks, to kill grasses. The only change is using surfactant rather than crop oil. I'm thinking about spraying to remove the grass competition in an area of 4 year old sawtooth and nutall oak trees.

Has anyone else tried Clethodim around hardwood trees?

Just the young sawtoths,the older ones are too big now
