Tree identification

I was coyote hunting the other day and watch some deer stand on there back legs eating something out of the trees. Well after they left I walked over and they was eating these long things not sure what they are called. So here is a picture close to what they was eating but what they was eating had turned dark color like dark brown . Does anyone know what they are called ? Here is close to what they look like

Mimosa or could be a "Honey Locust" tree......deer really love the sweet bean pods.
