I am having a hard time finding round balls,maxi balls. Ect for my 45 and 54 . Does ant one know of a place in north alabama or southern / middle TN that carry supply's
 
Modern muzzle loading is killing the traditional sport. Almost everyone deer hunting is wanting the modern stuff, so that's what the stores are offering. With that said, I think the Gander Mountain in north Alabama still has some traditional supplies. I'm afraid your best bet is to order or cast your own(that's what I do).

If ordering, a good source for your cast balls and bullets is Eddie May of Chatsworth, GA. Eddie is actually one of Dixie Gun Works suppliers. He has no website so you'll have to call him at 706-695-5290. His prices are very reasonable and he ships USPS flat rate so shipping won't eat you up. I know Eddie and he is a great guy and knows his stuff. If you use him tell him Robin sent you.
 
There is a place in middle TN that sells traditional loading stuff.

I second that motion. Tip is one of the old time tradition guys who loves muzzle loading. I swear, he probably has more stuff in stock than Track of the Wolf ever had. He's located not too far off I-65 at the Cross Plains exit north of Nashville.
