Trad vanes

Anybody used them? Good? Bad?

I shot feathers for several years, even cut my own a few times. I really preferred feathers over plastic they seemed more forgiving unless they became water logged or broken.

I shoot feathers. Have been since 1984.

I cannot tell the difference when shooting trade vanes and feathers with my longbow.
I do use smaller T vanes than I do feathers.

You could get different results.

When I could still draw a bow I always shot feather.

The old guy who taught me said use hairspray to waterproof them?
