I hunted this morning and had multiple birds gobbling on a peice of farmland I can hunt. I am going to hunt it hard this weekend but I think the farmer is going to start spraying and planting his fields. Will this mess the turkeys up when he starts? Or do they continue in the same areas?

been an a tractor a time or 2 and neither seem to be bothered with me...in addition for the most part they dont seem to mind people riding on horses either

i watched a farmer combine one of his corn fields one evening and everytime he would get close to the woods the deer and turkey both would walk just in the wood line and after he passed they would come back in the field. they did that several times.

Ok Good. That is what I wanted to hear. We had probably 7 different gobblers this morning on the roost but as soon as they hit the ground they were done. I am going to try and get in front of where they were going and call one in Saturday morning. We had one on the roost that gobbled probably 30 times or so but he never would come in.

One guy I hunt on makes fun of me when it takes a while to get one. He rides me by telling me to jump on the tractor and he'll ride me up close enough to shoot. Hunting there tomorrow knowing they will be repairing fence.
