I can see how it could delay firing until the crosshair is on target but not sure I believe that it can verify Zero. The only way a scope can "check" it's own Zero is to have a laser mounted somewhere on the rifle and that's nothing more than "bore sighting". Boresighting merely aligns the bore with the crosshair. Every load you shoot is likely to shoot to a slightly different point than that boresighted adjustment.

I agree that I wouldn't want this. It gets to the point that it's more like a video game than shooting. What's the point if you can't miss?? There would be no satisfaction in shooting.

I know this is an old post but caught my eye because a buddy just got one. I asked him the zero question and he said the scope reads something at the end of the barrel to keep its zero.

Yes apparently that front sight post looking thing is what the scope reads off of.
