that trophy rock thread got me thinking, we used to do a lot of talking on here about trophy rock and trace mineral being the same thing. there was a couple of guys that had a "recipe" so to speak that they got at TSC and mixed and said it was basically the same thing, but you got more it just wasn't in rock form obviously.

does anyone know what that recipe is?

Just make sure its Non-Medicated Trace Mineral, but I think what
I got from Mid-West Whitetail was 2 parts Trace mineral Salt
and 1 Di-Calcium Phosphate and 1 part salt

Where do you find these ingredients. I have been to several of the places in Mt. Juliet and around Nashville including but not limited to (Tractor Supply and Garrs). When I ask for the Di-Calcium Phosphate I get confused looks. All I find is maybe a salt block or something similar. What places may I be overlooking in the Nashville area.

TSC should have the trace minerals and salt but you will need to go to a CO-Op for the Di-cal. They may have to order it for you. The one in Loudon Tn had it in stock but when dad got his stuff the one in Columbia Tn had to order it for him. A guy at work ordered his in a 30 gal drum off the internet
