Tough sledding

Had a practice 100 yard UBR match this morning..wind was tough at 25 with gusts in the 40s,,even had tornado warnings..

Shot Daddys rifle with the 12 twist 6 BRA bbl and 80 gr bullets..

I had 14 eleven, 8 tens and 2 nine for a 252..2nd place was 251 and 3rd was 250..

I am really excited for March to get here and get started on a new Ultimate Benchrest season.

Nice!!!!

What's the strategy with the wind at 100 yards? Try to shoot between gusts or are you making adjustments?

Try and note where the flags are and shoot a sighter, then when the flags match where they were on the sighter shot try and hold off to where it will hit the dot...sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't..lol

That really is a nice shooting facility up there!! I couldn't imagine shooting that in the wind we had on Saturday. That's incredible shooting.
