Went to one of my favorite areas on Priest today to scout. Tons of oaks in the area, and always have at least some acorns due to the amount of trees in the area. If one doesn't produce the next one will, etc. Today I saw 2 trees out of about 50 that i checked that had acorns (I used Binos) on them and one of the two had 2-3 total that i could see. the other tree had about 20 or so that i could see. trees looked pretty raggedy and had a lot of dead leaves.

Checked the corn on the fields. Pitiful for the most part. most of it looked like this.

but some did look like this, so i guess the deer are getting somthing out of it.

i think your hunting probably just got better. they will be traveling more to find food. that tree that produced may be a gold mine. wait till the rut, they will be running everywhere

thats true Redblood and i thought about that, but it is always nice to go to your spots and find new ones with acorns producing and fresh sign. wasn't much sign, but at the end of the day all you can do is get out there and get after them, and adjust if need be.

I hope you're right though
