square bill-crawfish color. rocky points.
lipless in craw color.
1/2 ounce chatterbait
spinnerbait, white in clear, chartreuse in muddy water


what you got?
 
I usually throw the same thing over and over and over and whine when I don't catch anything. :D

I just locked up a few crawfish colored cranks last night actually.

rattlebaits/ lipless cranks. I have caught them in water as cool as 40 degrees. the river was in the low 50s yesterday and they ate it as well, until we rolled up on a deeper school late yesterday and they destroyed an a rig and a single swimbait. We caught 20 keepers in about 30 minutes. All fish were very white looking and lethargic, as well as fat with eggs.
 
you guys are making it hard on yourself. I got a shocker system off ebay and it works great for pre and post spawn :)
