Top 10 Worst deer hunting states

I can understand this rationale but there are some mighty big bucks taken from those mid northern states.

I noticed all 10 states on the list voted for Obama twice, so that's good.

I'd say that any state with hunting restrictions on Sundays should immediately go to the top of the list for worst state.

Great point. I totally agree.

Weather should really be a non-issue. If you are from Maine or Michigan, hard winds and heavy snow is just a fact of Winter. You are used to and can tolerate it the same way we tolerate heat and mosquitos.

Agreed, and I think states with colder hunting seasons should actually be rated better than states with warmer hunting seasons.

I'd also think that cryptic, complex, difficult to understand and open to interpretation regulations should be a factor.

Agreed, and I think this should include states with really annoying antlerless non-quota hunt regulations like TN.

I wouldn't want to hunt PA for the hunter density and the number of jack wagons. I'd like to hunt New Jersey however, if for nothing else than the February bow doe season they have in certain areas.

You would think that No Sunday hunting could
help states in some ways.
Less pressure, but could be less deer killed too.

Has any one on here hunted any of these states?

I can agree with Michigan but not Wisconsin, there are some bruisers and a good heard size in WI.
