Tooooo much water

My son just went to Gooch to try to pick up our decoys since the river isn't going to crest till Wed.
He can't get under the trestle, too much water.
He said it only lacks 6" till it is all the way to the top.

I forbid him to try and go to the river and go under.
Pee on a bunch of decoys, we will hunt with what we got left or I will buy more.

Oh well, it is what it is.

Funny...our problem with rain is opposite. Because of the rain, Old Hickory Dam has been releasing 30K cfs. As a result, the water is our hole is darn near gone. No where for birds to land.

Doesn't look like it will fall off quick either. When I cross the river heading to Martin theirs a lot of water left in the field and ditches
