Was just going to stick a trail cam out to see if I could get any good pics of the does that feed in the field.

Momma saw me from a distance away and ran to the woods. Her 2 babies ran different directions, this one came straight to me. Was about 30 yards and I ducked down below the Johnson grass and snuck to less than 20 yd while it was looking away.

Cool to see a doe with twins this time of year, used to be very common here but not so much these days.

Always fun to sneak up on them.

I have seen quite a few with twins this year.

Think predation is up higher than normal this year in this area. Getting above normal numbers of pics of yotes on our cams, matter of fact having lapses of up to three days with no deer activity at our mineral site when the yotes are moving through. I have yet to physically see a fawn on our property this year, very unusual.
