but I put #3 down on Monday afternoon right at last light.

I missed a big doe Sunday AM at 9:45 in Hickman county. She came in down wind and got spooky at 25 before I could get turned on her. Stopped at 40 right behind the tree and I shot and top limb hit my rubber coated bow hanger, I think. Weird part is I found my arrow broken in two where she was standing. Broadhead brand new sharp...Guess Ill never know what really happened.

Anyways, I get back to Louisville work till 3:20 on Monday and a friend that has been wanting to start bowhunting asks to go. I take him and put im in my climper and I just go and sit on a ridge. I came out about 15 min before dark so he could climb down in the light. He told me he saw some entering a field and as he was climbing down I went to look.

When I made it to the field edge I had a deer about 80 yards away. I went into indian mode and closed to 40. It turned out to be about a 14-15 inch wide 8. As I was just enjoying watching him two does came into the field. I shot the biggest at 35 yards in the last minutes of light...she ran about 70 before droping in the field.
