Just North of Chatt-town
and set another stand yesterday. Nice very light rain almost the whole time, with heavier spurts now and then. Looked the ridge over that I wanted to setup on and found a trail up, and a trail crossing that trail near the crest. Several whiteoaks up there, but I found a good hickory in the midst, and set up there. I've noticed deer movement up there over the years and its been too far out for a shot, especially with bow in hand, so now I think I may have upped the odds in my favor. ;)

Did I mention that I jumped some deer as I was getting in there? :) I feel I might be able to make up for last year now, Lord willing. ;)

Oh, and I really like being able to set up just before, or even during a light rain. Eases my mind knowing that my scent is being washed away almost as quickly as I'm laying it down. :)
