Too Late for Muskies?

Plan on taking my kayak and fishing the Upper Caney Fork or Collins for muskie next week. Am I too late?

Too late? You can catch them anytime of the year.

Never fished for muskies. Thought the best time for them was dwindling down.

Probably have a bit longer, but watch the water temps. Sure, you can catch them any time of year, but if you catch them much above mid-70s you're likely going to kill them. Mornings are usually OK. Switch to smallmouth in the afternoon, please.
