Getting a late start getting my garden tilled but it should be done tomorrow. I've got leftover crimson, wheat and cereal rye from my fall plots and I was thinking about tilling a strip back behind my house, maybe 15x75ft and planting it with some of my leftover seed for the occasional yard deer. Any shot that the seed I have will do any good planting this late in the spring?

It will grow. Although on my place, once green-up gets here, the deer ignore the cereal grains and crimson clover.
No more than I'm planting, any better option? Maybe iron/clay peas and sunflowers?
