I've been "Off" from the day job this week... but doing the "fishing guide" job nearly every day.
It's been a great week. Catfishing has been good to excellent. Me and a partner caught nearly 250 lbs. of cats Wednesday morning. Most days have been in the 150 lb. range, give or take. We've had an excellent generation schedule this week at Chickamauga Dam.. just about perfect. That really helps. But they're bumping up generation in the next few days. The fish don't care, it just makes it tougher on the fishermen (and women).
Also made a short foray for crappie one day this week. If you know how to "shoot docks," the Chickamauga crappie bite is also great right now. But if you can't "shoot," you won't catch much.
