Don't blame you. If I didn't have to do a honey-do list, I'd be out there too. Though, it will free me up for the end of October and most of November :super:

Who's busting out the snorkel and floaties tomorrow?

I've only made it to the woods 1 time thus far due to work, so I'm going!
Good luck man, I freaking hate the rain. After 23 years in the Army and living out in it for days on end I refuse to do anything in the rain lol. Right before and after though I love it.

Deer don't mind the rain, and it helps tamp down odor & noise, so get after it!
Lol nope I am retired now and can hunt whenever I want to.

My son tried to go this afternoon... put a stalk on several does, then realized he left his cocking rope at the house! Noob mistake (although I've left my release at the house once before... so I shouldn't talk)

I'm not hinting this trip... just installing a new shoot house and stand/ land maintenance. But geez, the deer were out this eve. Saw 60 or 70 just before dark feeding hard!

I'm gonna wait til tomorrow. Don't like blood trailing in the rain. Blood washes off too fast to try it with a bow, for me at any rate. Now with a gun, I'd be out in a heartbeat.
