Is it too early to spray my clover to get the grass out?Im cutting mine at my house for the first time today.Supposed to be 80* on thursday.I had bad grass problems last year, want to get a handle on it.

maybe a little early... I hit mine (clover) with pre emerg a couple of weeks ago. go to lowes and get a bag, 2 applications will last most of the summer. keep annuals down to nill!

A pre emergent for grasses, that wont harm clover?

Preemergent herbicides kill plants that have not sprouted. If you're fighting fescue or another perennial grass that is already established, you won't kill it. Look at a grass killer such as sethoxydim (Poast) or clethodym (Arrow), or add some imazethapyr (Pursuit) to control forb weeds as well.
