any thing that actually vices a rifle will not help accuracy

I've had mine for several years now and really like it.

If looking for something to holt a gun while cleaning, I guess OK. If using for shooting I had much rather use a good sand bag set up.

The Tipton Best Gun Vise was not designed for shooting, it's for cleaning.
I have one, and like it, for cleaning or holding the gun while I'm doing something to it (such as mounting a scope, etc.).

I have the regular Tipton gun vise ($45) and use it just as Wes described above. It has served me well thus far.

I have the Tipton Best Gun vise. It works as advertised... I could have made due without it for working on guns, but it sure makes the jobs easier.

FWIW, I just got the BPS Fall Hunting Classic sale ad in the mail and it shows the Tipton Best Gun Vise to be on sale for $59.97 Aug 2-18 at my local store, so basically 50% off from normal price.
