Tiny TSS and yotes

Anyone reliably kill yotes with 8, 9, or 10 TSS? Where do you generally aim…head/neck?

I have and will continue to every chance I get. Just depends on what they offer me, as to where I aim. Edit- I wanted to add I've only shot #9's and #9.5's, but they were effective.

Aim for the throat area of the neck.
All it takes is a single pellet penetrating the carotid to kill the coyote.
Don't know about the #10's, but the #9's will get it done.

I've killed them with 5 or 6 lead turkey shells, so if 9 tss is the same energy as 5 or 6 lead I figured it would. But not positive

I have shot one in the face and one in the shoulder and it killed them both. Face was dead then, shoulder he ran around in circles yipping and all then died

I killed one at almost 50 yards with TSS #9 in my 20 gauge. In the face... Joker went straight down..

Wow! I wouldn't think TSS #9 would penetrate a yote's skull, but either a few got thru, are so many hit his carotids & spine, just didn't matter.

Thanks all. I've got a spot where the cam is snapping many turkey pics but also several yotes. There's little doubt one will wander by sometime this season. Sounds like in the face should get it done.

I shot a 130 lb hog last year at about 25 yards just behind the shoulder. He made it 75 yards and fell over. I was amazed that a 1-5/8 oz load of #9s could do that. That was the 4th hog I've killed with that load but the others were all inside 12 yards and the tight shooting little 20 gauge essentially made a slug hole in them.

Let it fly, normally I'm an ethical kill guy but on coyotes fill them full of pellets. If they suffer for weeks, good.
