Not being much of a fisherman, I was wondering if you would share your knowledge ? I know of crappie time being very early in the spring, like now, maybe up until Mothers Day when it is pretty much over.
Is this true ?
After that is when the perch/ bluegill/sunfish are easier to catch as they move toward shore from deeper water ?
It seems that below the dam's that stripe begin running, when ? Sauger fishing is best in cold weather ?
Is there a chart someone has made up , and is it better at different times across the state.
Just wondering
Thanks for replys.

the crappie spawn is usually over by mothers day but they can be caught year 'round.
