Buck 1: 9:30am on 11/9/19. He was behind two smaller bucks, one working a scrape, all three generally following a pair of does that had come in about 20 minutes earlier.
Buck 2: 8:40am on 11/27 Came in to my grunt ready to fight.
1st buck was on 11/15/19 at 8:30am. Saw him chasing out of range around 6:45am. Later he returned alone seeking. I had trail cam pics of this buck. 8 point.
2nd buck was on 11/16/19 at 8:05am. Different farm. One doe in grown up field feeding. Buck came from thicket down wind. Grunting every step, literally heard him before I saw him. I had no pics of this buck. 10 point.
First time I've ever taken two mature bucks on back to back days.... blessed.
I have not shot one this year, but in the past most of my older bucks were shot in the morning cruising, between sun up and 7:30 am. I did shoot a 10 pt just after 10 am some years ago.
I have seen most of my older buck movement in that sun up to 7:30 am window, with the exception being between 1-2:30 PM.
