I just got back from Tim's Ford.
We go at least once a year.
This time the water was WAY down from where it always has been.
On the more vertical banks it was around 4' down.
On the more horizontal spots I had 10-12' of rocks to move along the bank where normally there are none.
Just curious as to why the drastic change this year?

The lake is actually a bit high according to the operating guide.

I don't know a lot about Tim's Ford but sure it's like Center Hill. It's just now transitioning from Winter pool towards Summer pool. It says that summer pool is 888 and winter pool at 873. It's currently at 883. Levels this time of year will also depend on how much rain that we've had. I'm about 2 hrs North of Tim's, and we haven't had any really big rains in a while here.

Normally about this time of the year.
Maybe a month later once.
A month makes a big difference this time of year in a highland reservoir as they go from winter pool to summer pool especially without any really big rains. In terms of Center Hill, until about mid April to May they will pull it down every time it gets up during the rainy season to hold water in the event of another big rain. Around May, they will let it get to summer pool. Cent Hill is currently 8' below summer pool.

Well my memory isn't as good as I thought. I forgot about the fall trips.
Here are the dates I have been there and the water level has always been the same.
4-26-19
9-9-19
4-15-21
9-22-22
4-6-23

the difference in a lot of those dates and 4-6 looks to be almost 10-15ft. sept 2022 there was flood concern here, so probably high there as well.
