The tilt and trim motor on my 1990 aluminum fishing rig with a 60 mariner died this morning. :bash: I have gone through the circuit and it am getting power to the motor, just seems to have died. Any ideas, would like to rebuild myself if possible, if not any recommendations where to get one here In the nashville area.

I don't know if they are still there but there was a place in Hendersonville off of new shackle island rd that would rebuild them. You best bet is probably ebay.

You can probably get the motor rebuilt for a reasonable price. Not sure about the new models but most of the older models used a starter motor to run a small hydraulic pump. Got mine fixed at a starter/alternator rebuild shop for $40.

Did you remove it your self?
How hard was that?
