Thirty six pounds total that is. A friend of mine called me over to help him fish two of his three ponds today. Between the two of us our collective total weight of bass caught was just over thirty six pounds. We weighed each and ran a scorecard to keep up. The biggest came in at 5 lbs 8 oz. Most in the two to three pound range with a few fours.
Sorry about the lack of pictures. I didn't think to bring the camera this time. Will take one next time.
It was all sight fishing. The bass looked to be spawning. Bloody tails and all. Plastic lizards got the best reaction.
Not a bad fishing spot considering his house is about 50 yards away and he can limit out on turkey while sitting on his deck. I'm going back next week to help with his feathered rat problem and to do my best to help with his bullfrog problem.
The fish/frog fry will be in May.
