Do you think this is a mature deer? Hard to tell but does he look young?

He doesn't have much of a belly on him. Can't see the brisket from the way he's stepping. I'd say 3yo.

Shoot him, he'll run into the corn, and you'll have a devil of a time finding him. At least if the corn is still standing next weekend when season opens.

Base of neck is almost even with torso, and his torso is thick as legs are long. I'd say classic example of a healthy 3.5yr old.

I would put him at 3.5, but he is stretched out in that pic and it may make him look leaner than he is. He may be 4.5, but no older.

I'm guessing 2.5. Lean and lanky. If he's been eating that corn his whole life I'd expect more body mass at 3.5
