1 Wall Buck, either TN or KY
Thinking I'm going to keep an daily hunting log this year, have done it on several of out state trips but never local.

And I will be working on some late plots this year, will start clearing freshly cut clear cuts this coming week

Enjoy every second in the woods and be thankful I am alive to experience it.

Hunt with friends as much as possible.
Try and hunt with new friends and reconnect with old friends.

Put some deer in the freezer. One with a pistol would be extra fun.

1.) Number one is always not to wound any animals.
2.) Enjoy my season
3.) Kill my first bow deer
4.) I wouldn't mind #3 being a P&Y but anything over 110"
will do fine, or a doe of course
5.) help my dad kill a big deer (it's been almost ten years)

Well this will be the first season that I am going to hunt, so my goal is to kill a deer whether it be a doe or a buck. In all actuality I would like to get 2 does and a buck but I will be perfectly happy with just one. Also went squirrel hunting this morning for the first time and got 4 and next weekend will be the first dove hunt ever so I'm trying to do all of the seasons and put some meat in the freezer.

Got a couple of goals this year:

1. For me - kill at least one deer this season with my bow - more if possible. I shot one doe the first weekend I hunted 2 years ago, but nothing since then with a bow.

2. Wife got a crossbow this year - I'd like to help her shoot her first deer with either that or a gun.

3. I'd like for my daughter to get her first deer this year too (She's 11).

1) enjoy it...hunt when I want and not when I don't
2) don't wound a deer/kill every deer I shoot at
3) 8 deer (mostly bow hunter)
4) 1 PY buck
5) hang less stands during season (this one is a lock with as many as I have up/trees prepped)
6) know where bucks have survived after gun season
7) have a great 2 days with my best friend and brother in TN following Xmas...

1. Get a big slickhead right away for jerky and sausage. I still have steaks from last season. Wait till much cooler weather to get more serious about bucks.
2. Find new hunting buddy to share costs with. Mine have all moved or are deployed. Gas is too expensive to drive hours to a hunting spot any more.
3. Get one with recurve or longbow
4. Do more camping/hunting
5. Take more and better quality pictures

1. Savor the joys of the outdoors.

2. Hunt with my little girl and teach her to be a woodsman.

3. Provide venison for family/friends that want it.

4. Hunt some new areas.

5. Make clean/efficent kills.

Since I have class on Saturday mornings this year my goal by default is hunt more mid day and evenings. Hunt hard during my vacation (week of thanksgiving). Kill a buck 3.5+
