so far, i like the 2011 wide glide and the 2010 softtail custom. the softtail custom is not in the 2011 line.
 
I think the Dynas handle better than the Softails in general. I rode a bunch of the 2010's last year and liked the Fat Bob the best as far as how they rode/handled. Kinda sporty for a cruiser-style bike. I liked the Wide Glide too.
I have a '97 Softail now, but I'd love to trade it in on a newer Dyna. Just need to find a bunch of cash laying around.
 
I just want the same pipes that ours had. I just don't know exactly which ones they were. Tim will have to help me out on that one. :)

They were Rineharts.

I went to their website but they had so many, I didn't know which ones. All I know is they were 2 into 2.
 
I have a Wide Glide and love it!! Have put a ton of miles on her and she has been a great bike.. They do ride and handle a bit better then a Soft tail..Only Thing i would recommend is that you put a Fork Brace on if you get one..They take a lot of shock and will help with tire front tire wear..of course then there is the Race brace.. but i probably ride a bit more aggressive then you.. LOl
 
after about 3 hrs of looking and touching and drooling, i fell in love with a 2011 superglide custom.

the softtail custom seemed a bit heavy and the wide glide just wasn't "it".

and they have a "no money down, no payments for 3 months" deal on the dynas. i think i'm fixin to buy a bike :D

He sat down with the catalog last night and made a list of everything he wants done. Part numbers included. The sales manager knew what he was doing by giving him that book. lol

they had a 2 tone(light and dark) rootbeer setting next to my black one. that has got to be the ugliest combo i have ever seen.

went back over this morning to finish a detail or 2 and they were putting a beautiful blue/black superglide in the hole mine vacated.


i gained a lot of sympathy points when i told them i was replacing one i had wrecked. it is still there in the back. i showed the salesman which one it was and he was sick too. said he never wanted to see that again. great folks at smokey mtn. h-d. make you feel like family.
