13 pounds of corn for chum and bait to see if I can get some of the carp in the creek. If I can get them all feeding then put some corn on a #6 and let it sink down with the rest of the corn and wait... hope it works.
trout love corn. used to go to a stocked pond, throw corn on a hook in, and 5 seconds later snag. but...the place closed downturkeyhunter64 said:bring that corn to white county and we can trout fish..forget the carp.
The stocked trout here love corn. Caught my limit on corn in december in an hour one day.turkeyhunter64 said:bring that corn to white county and we can trout fish..forget the carp.
Trust me I will, in the Harpeth River at least. I can go to a pond I know of and fish and catch them with or without chum, but they need some kind of encouragement in the creek where they won't bite. I hope the corn gets them feeding well.bowriter said:You won't need to chum.
