After getting on here first thing this morning,I noticed some people ragging cat about shooting fawns.I made my mind up right then that the first one that give me a shot,I was taking it in the name of catman.So there you go buddy,and what makes it even sweeter is you killed one too.Congrats.Maybe we can putem together and make a sub.To all you haters,next time keep your opinions to yourself!
 
Heck yeah I like too see other people not afraid to post pics of their fawns. :D Got some good eating ahead of me and I ain't gonna apologize for anything. Congrats on the kill and nice shot placement.

I won't laugh at you for the fawn. Congrats on the deer. Now the hat!!!?? Thats a different story. I would love to find one of those and wear it just to embares my kids. They don't make em like that anymore.
 
You can tell by my outfit that my dad worked for the state! That picture was taken on September 24, 1993. You're right, they don't make 'em like that anymore. Fortunately, I'd bet that it's still hanging in mom's basement. Make me an offer.

This fawn is half the size of any I've seen this year.Most I've seen don't have spots anymore.The doe must have been bred I'm guessing the first of this year.Anyway,it weighed only 23lbs. dressed.Pretty crazy when you can weigh them on fish scales.lol

Dang... mine was 39 lbs and I thought it was a baby! Now that I have the chip off my shoulder I'll be waiting on something with antlers. Congrats though!
 
Congrats to you my friend. I applaud you for shooting what makes you happy. However. I myself wouldn't shoot one. Not because of it being a fawn though. I don't think I could hit the dang thing with a bow. Lol. Good shooting!!
 
So, lets have a competition to see who can kill the heaviest fawn that still has spots... Just kidding everyone
 
I'm at work literally about to cry i am laughing so hard at this thread. You guys are clowns.

Congrats on the deer. I have shot some small ones, but I can't shoot the spotted ones. I bet that thing will be delicious though...
