I absolutely love turkey hunting in the spring woods! There is just something about calling in a gobbler that really makes me jump out of bed in the morning! He's not a monster, but I am happy with him. Ready to do it again tomorrow!





 
Heck if he has a full fan in shooting them period lol. Weight, Spurs and beard are great but if it has a full fan and came to me strutting or gobbling he is getting shot at period

Something about tricking an old bird that just flips our switch, I love the turkey woods in the spring,if you never hear a turkey you bring something home.
Cangrats Caw looks like a nice bird to me. :D
 
The size dont matter with turkeys, one reason that's great about turkey hunting. It's The hunt, and the game you play with them that matters.
Longbeards whether they are 2 year olds with a 8" beard and 1/2 spurs or five year olds with a 11" beard and 1-1/2" spurs they are all fun to me too.

My favorite thing to do is spring turkey hunt.
