This Morning On Center Hill

The first fish of the day started things off well.

But my partner had trouble getting the hang of it.

We caught about 20 smallies and spots by 11:30 and had a great time. First time I have fished the Hill since I got sick-about five years ago-I was glad to see the same old banks still produced.

Just reallyized, we have put about 35 fish in the boat in a total of 8.5 hours fishing in two mornings on Priest and the Hill.

No wonder my shoulder hurts. Even my Gitzit rod will wear you out.

Thanks! You've successfully made me jelous as he!! for 2 days in a row! I hope you're happy now! Between you and the guy I saw on Woods this morning taking a picture of his 5+lb largemouth as I crossed the bridge on my way to work I think I'll just go jump in front of a bus! :D

Shoulder and wriost killing me but worth it. Talked about going tomorrow but felt it would be wise to rest the joints a couple days. Those suckers were sure pulling like they were pissed, today.

I have a special rod designed for fishing a Gitzit or other similar tube/enclosed jig type lures but even with that rod it was working on me. Lost a lot of strength while sick and it is slow coming back.
