i would understand his concern for the shooting if there was proof of reckless endangerment... but it sounds like there wasnt and i would sue is behind for wrongful accusation and calling the law on me

Good thing that guy isn't my neighbor, if I lived where it were legal to shoot, it would sound like a war zone all the time, especially if he kept calling the law on me, then I would go out of my way to hone my skills every day.

Yea buddy

Unfortunately, this is just going to happen more in the future.

Most cities and towns long ago out-lawed shooting firearms within their city "limits". Of course I agree with "this crap burns me up" and would want to just do more shooting. But as much as you might want to "shoot more" to "get back" at a neighbor, might just cause you to lose your shooting rights sooner there. Many areas outside a city's limit are now becoming one giant subdivision. Just saying history will probabably repeat, and much of our former countryside is becoming more like within the "city limits".

This issue was part of why I joined a shooting club/range a couple decades ago. Maybe we can slow down the "progress" by being as smart and discreet as possible when surrounded by gun-fearing neighbors, possibly shooting less, less often. It's better than not shooting at all. Perhaps invite them over to do some shooting?
