well,yesterday afternoon,me and my son,Casey, went over to the Kids rodeo to see if we could be of help to the autistic,special needs kids who fished yesterday afternoon...Now guys/gals,let me tell you,those kids had a BLAST!Me running up and down with my net in one hand,a pair of needlenose pliers in the other,my son helping them "set that hook!" and a WHOLE BUNCH of "Get tha Net!" My heart felt so good. Smiling faces,laughter and parents who really seemed to be thankful of an on Fisherman stopping by to help out.many pictures were taken and memories shared.
We all are blessed to enjoy what we do.Take time to stop by today at one of the rodeo's and help out if you can.I guarantee your ol ticker will feel good..

First one I worked changed my life for the better. I've got a bunch of pics saved to a disc & made a slideshow. I watch it sometimes just to put a smile on my face & it usually puts a tear in my eye. Yeah, you got it right. This is what its all about. :)
 
I'm convinced that as a fisherman, you are supposed to be a fisher of men. Find the people who don't fish, fish them up, and take them fishing!!!

Just got in from Rodeo.Much different than last night.Fishing was slow.I think i neteed maybe 15 all morning..many turtles and blue gills were caught,LOL!..But everyone seemed to be having a great time,and just glad to be not having to worry about the times we're in..thats good!
