Gil and BD, not sure when you are gonna start fishing for them but I should be in the next few weeks.

goal this year is a 40+ lb grassie on rod and reel.

I would also like to shoot a buff with the bow.

Time for some ugly fish'n

I snagged for buffalo about ten minutes yesterday. I hooked one. Unfortunately a scale is all I cought.

I'm with ya, Cat. I haven't fished since the cicada hatch in June because of my shoulder, but the big tournament will be here before you know it. I'm depending on you to scout out some good areas for me. ;)

Funny, I used to tell everyone my favorite spots, but you can't afford to these days because the bowfish guys will decimate the population pretty quickly. Nothing against the bow boys, but I need to be able to fish.

Here's the last decent one I caught back in June.

yes i do know there are carp there. im not sure. in the upper end close to the fence posts ive always seen them there. take a left nxt to building up the main part of the lake all the way to the back

you mean the upstream end of the lake? I would guess the carp would hang out in the shallow mud bottom coves in that lake
