I have a CVA Optima Elite .50cal Black with fleck Stock and Blued Barrel. Has a scope on it..Bushnel?? Not sure of the brand right now. Has been shot MAYBE 25-30 times. What do you think a good asking price would be?

Why are you selling it?

Just running the Idea Around. I love it But, I have yet to even fire it at an animal. Plus I dont have a rifle at all. I know I could get a barrel for it, But I would have to sell it to come up with the extra cash. Figure i might be able to sell it and buy a cheap ML and maybe a Cheap rifle too. Who knows? I know what they sell for new, but not sure what I would even ask for it.

Well, here is what I did. I had a CVA Optima Pro that shot fine. I decided I wanted the Optima Elite so I could change over to centerfire barrels. I bought the Optima Elite. Now I wished I kept the Optima Pro and bought a Tikka .270. The Optima Elite .270 barrel shoots great, but I kinda would like to have a seperate rifle. Oh well, I do like the Optima Elite, but now they are coming out with the Apex! Why me lord.

I went through the same deal with my encore. Didn't like swapping the mz barrel and .243 out all the time because I hunt some public land where rifles are a no no. Anyway I solved it when I bought another frame.

No one seems to want to answer your question, so I'll give it a go.

I know you can buy a brand new Optima Elite .243 at Academy Sports for $285. I bought a used Optima 209X50 with scope last year for $140. So I would say $150-$200 would be the range for the Optima Elite ML, assuming no scope. I'd only increase the value of the Elite over the standard Optima because of the capability of adding CF barrels.

I'm selling my Optima now (I bought a TC Triumph), and I'd be thrilled to get out of it what I paid.
