Even though I don't coyote hunt like I used to I was thinking about getting a rifle for combo hunting them and deer.

I like the looks of the Remington R-25. Kinda favor it over the R-15 because I would probably like the .308 more for deer.

My other thought was to buy a more "traditional" type rifle.
If I go that route I would probably go with the tried and true 22-250.

Seems like an AR styled rifle would be neat to have, just wonder about the accuracy.

do it man,,I believed the myths for a long time,,,them things will shoot as well as anything you have,,,

never know when you might need 20 follow up shots either,,
 
They are super nice, but if you look at the DPMS website you will realize what I did. It's a better deal to get the DPMS because you get 2 19 round mags, cleaning kit.

My new .308 is supposed to be here Monday evening.
 
The new M&P's come with 5 magazines. A store here locally had them at 20% off. 8 Benjamins for one ain't to bad. I was tempted but resisted. I looked at a Ruger SR 556 today and that thing was fine as cat fur.

I didn't know M&P made a .308

I liked the R25 because of the trigger, and flutted barrel. But the Panther or better yet a Armalite would be a good .308
