I am thinking about a new to me used bike. Have looked at a couple of VTX's My budget is around $3000 to $3500 want a cruiser any advice on buying a used bike?

i got a Yamaha Vstar for sale a bit more than 3500 but not much

Vstar is a nice bike. I thought my wife was strict. The budget she put me on is even stricter.

This guy lives about 1/2 mile from me. He fixes up old BMW and VW cars and sells them. Those Cobra pipes sound really nice when he rides by our house. I hate stupid-loud straight pipes, but these sound good without being too loud.
