I hunt from the ground quite a bit. Usually as a scouting tactic. Find a spot, have a seat, see what happens. When I do pick a tree to lean against, I usually kick away leaves and get down to bare dirt so I can move around without creating too much noise. I hunted the Sunday before Thanksgiving and did just that. I returned to the exact same spot Friday and I consider this as a direct challenge.
Pretty sure I know this doe, too. We've been playing cat and mouse for a month. She's big, she's old, and apparently she's a smartass.
