I went by to check on a new food plot before the rain and noticed it was pretty tore up. Then I found a cow pie on the trail.
Pulled a card from the mineral hole nearby and found out what happened. Counted 9 different cows. BTW, I don't own cows, these must be from a neighbor, somewhere.
Could have been worse, it will recover.

That happened to me last year several times! I have a yankee neighbor who thinks he is a cowboy and has no clue about fencing, he has pushed me to the end

cows can tear up a food plots in a hurry. I had that happen to me last year just as my food plots were coming in. I kept driving the cows back to the neighbors land, but once they find good food, water and cool woods they kept coming back.

That's something I didn't want to hear.
In the picture they are going for the minerals. From the time stamps, they spent several hours in the area going back to the minerals multiple times.

Good luck finding the owner...chances are, you will see him on your trail cams soon.

Look at it this way.... you could always settle for T-bones or ribeyes if you don't see and venison......
